We are growing

Liquor Express has now grown to 6 stores.

In September of 2010 we took possession of the Great Canadian Liquor Cabinet in Esquimalt Plaza. We are now planning to renovate the store with a new cooler that will include a much more diverse selection of beer and cider. We also plan to remove the staircase that is in the middle of the store to increase the selection of wines and spirits. Re-branding of the store to a Liquor Express will be begin in early April.

On February 21st we took over Harris Green Liquor Merchants on View Street in Victoria.
We are very excited to continue the great delivery service that Harris Green is known for. Look for Liquor Express to expand this delivery service to other stores in Victoria. Look for some Liquor Express Value Picks to start showing up on the shelves of both stores very soon.

Beaujolais Nouveau

The 3rd Thursday in November always brings us the lively chants of "Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé!" which translates to "The New Beaujolais has arrived!"
Nouveau has always been released on the third Thursday of November, regardless of the start of the harvest.
Beaujolais Nouveau is meant to be drunk young-in average vintages it should be consumed before the Spring. Serve Beaujolais Nouveau slightly cool-the wine is more refreshing and its forward fruit more apparent than if you serve it at room temperature.
Just another great reason to celebrate and enjoy a glass of wine
